In the summer of 2008, I started up Fight Song. It was more of an art exercise than a real comic or anything worthwhile, but I figured it would be good filler for the days when I wasn’t updating.
The basic idea behind it was that I would listen to a song, and draw something relating to that song by the time it was over. It was an exercise in quick idea-making, and while it was easy enough to dash a week’s worth off before getting to work on the real comics, Fight Song grew to be too much of a hassle, and just not fun to make, so I nixed it after completing just short of 200 of the things.
