The Kinsey scale, which Dan mentions in the first panel, is a chart that hypothetically measures just how gay or straight or in-the-middle someone is on a scale from 0 (me, because I’m nearly terrified of my own penis) to 6 (let’s use Yvette as an example). The idea is that sexual preference isn’t just one way or the other (or the other other), but rather that it’s a sliding scale.
Unfortunately, David Willis made a joke about the damned thing four years ago, so I might as well just go sulk.
